A 20-year-old man was arrested at Wal-Mart at 501 E. Pawnee early Saturday morning after he allegedly threatened police officers with a knife.

The man called 911dispatch at about 4 a.m. saying he was at the Wal-Mart store and wanted to kill somebody, said Sgt. Bruce Watts of the Wichita Police Department.

Four officers approached the man, who flicked out the blade of the pocket knife he was carrying in his right hand.

Police officers used a Taser to stun the man multiple times.

He was then taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated assault of law enforcement officers.
