One of the five advance voting sites won’t be open Friday because the parking lot can’t be cleared of snow in time.

Sharon Baptist Church, 2221 S. Oliver, also won’t be open Saturday, Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Tabitha Lehman said.

The snowstorm forced all the advance voting satellite sites to close Thursday – the first day they were to be open.

The primary election is Tuesday. Advance voting is still being held Friday and Saturday at four other sites.

Hours for voting are noon to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at:

• Independent Living Resource Center, 3033 W. Second St.
• Machinist Building, 3830 S. Meridian.
• Sedgwick County Zoo, Cargill Learning Center, 5555 Zoo Blvd.
• Westlink Church of Christ, 10025 W. Central.

Voting at the election office – 510 N. Main, Suite 101 – is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Monday.
