A man with a revolver entered the Dollar General at 2020 E. 21st St. when it was closing Friday night and demanded money, said Sgt. Bruce Watts of the Wichita Police Department.
The suspect entered the store about 10 p.m. and pointed the gun at an employee and two other witnesses. He ordered all of them behind the register.
He demanded that an employee open the safe. He took some cash and left on foot. No one was injured.
He’s described as 5-feet-8-inches tall with a medium build wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans. His black revolver had a wooden handle.
No one has been arrested.
