Pompeo named to House Intelligence Committee

U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Wichita, has been named to the House Intelligence Committee, his office announced Friday.

U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Wichita, has been named to the House Intelligence Committee, his office announced Friday.

The committee handles oversight of the nation’s intelligence activities and agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency, as well as military intelligence.

Pompeo, a second-term congressman, also serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
