Sedgwick County will offer 24 severe weather safety classes beginning this month.

The classes will feature multimedia presentations including video, a news release from the county said. Participants will learn about thunderstorm development as well as storm structures and how to recognize and stay safe from them.

Classes also will cover when and how to report severe weather.

The two-hour classes are free and open to the public.

A complete list of classes and location is available on the home page of the county's website, and attached to this story.
