City and county officials will hold a 9 a.m. news conference Wednesday in the first floor City Hall boardroom to roll out a new community survey and other community engagement efforts.
The survey, “CommunityInvestmentsPlan … a Framework for the Future,” sees citizen input to prioritize public transportation, water, sewer and stormwater improvements, cultural, recreational and parks amenities and economic development issues.
Attending will be Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer, Sedgwick County Commission Chairman Jim Skelton and other city and county leaders.
The results of the community survey will help city and county elected officials develop a policy framework to guide future investments while shaping growth and development through 2035.
