A 30-year-old man was taken to a hospital Friday night after suffering multiple blows to the head, police said.
Wichita Police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen said police were called at 11:30 p.m. on Friday to 400 N. Seneca, where they found the man and two women who witnessed the beating.
Brunscheen said the man was “extremely intoxicated” and was asked to leave the bar where he was drinking. He said the 30-year-old man swung or punched at two other men who were “helping” him leave the bar.
Once outside, Brunscheen said, the two men began repeatedly knocking the head of the intoxicated man into a sidewalk or curb area.
The two men left in a black Ford hatchback. Brunscheen said police have the name of one of the two suspects.
