Police are looking for two men who broke into the Target near Towne East Square early Wednesday morning and stole several thousand dollars worth of electronics.

The men broke into the store through glass front doors at about 4:15 a.m. and took iPads, iPods, digital cameras and laptop computers, Lt. Doug Nolte said.

They then exited through a set of fire doors in the northeast corner of the store.

Video surveillance showed two men of unknown race who are between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, Nolte said. They wore dark-colored clothing, ski masks and gloves.

“They did not leave any fingerprints,” Nolte said, adding that he did not know if the stolen electronics were taken from display shelves or storage areas.

Anyone with knowledge of the crime — or who was in the area at about 4:15 a.m. and may have seen something suspicious — is encouraged to call 911, he said.
