Officials with Sedgwick County’s domestic and sexual violence programs will host a reception and informal meeting with new Kansas state legislators.

The event will be Monday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at St. Anthony Family Shelter. Among the officials attending will be those involved with the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center, YWCA Women’s Crisis Center, StepStone and Harbor House at Catholic Charities.

The meeting is to inform new legislators about domestic and sexual violence concerns, and to also celebrate the groups 30th anniversary as members of the Kansas Coalition against Sexual and Domestic Violence.
