A teenage girl hurt in a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
A police report on the incident states the girl was driving east on Carr, which is south of Kellogg, and ran a stop sign. A 68-year-old man driving a white Chevy Silverado south on Maize Road struck the driver’s side of the red Pontiac Sunfire.
The accident was reported at 4:41 p.m., the report states. The speed limit on that stretch of Maize Road is 40 miles an hour.
The girl, who is in her mid-teens, was not responsive at the scene. She was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis.
