A Wichita man pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and two other felonies for his role in the beating death of a man who was found dead in his home in July.
Nelson R. Glover will be sentenced Jan. 24 on the manslaughter charge as well as charges of robbery and aggravated battery.
Glover was one of two men charged in the beating death of John Tolliver, 47, who was found dead in his home in the 1400 block of North Kansas on July 17. Wichita police said the beating was the result of a dispute between Tolliver and an ex-girlfriend over possession of a dog.
The second defendant in the case, Samuel J. Sims, also has pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 16.
