Candidates for Ulrich director to speak at Wichita State

The search for a new Ulrich Museum director at Wichita State University has narrowed to three candidates.

The search for a new Ulrich Museum director at Wichita State University has narrowed to three candidates.

Each will visit the campus and gives a public lecture on the topic: "What is the role of a university art museum in the 21st century?"

Candidate Julien Robson of Philadelphia will speak from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, in 210 McKnight Art Center West (WSU School of Art and Design). This event is free and open to the public.

The final presentation, from Robert Workman from Manhattan, will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in 210 McKnight Art Center West.

Candidate David Brown from Winston-Salem, N.C. has already presented, said Rodney Miller, dean of WSU’s College of Fine Arts.
