The Kansas Turnpike Authority has released the name of the man who was killed with the semi trailer truck he was driving overturned near a toll booth at the Kellogg exit Wednesday afternoon.
Abdikarim Mohamed Haile, 52, of St. Cloud, Minn., died at the scene following the 3:30 p.m. crash.
Haile was hauling a load of soy milk and was driving too fast to properly negotiate a curve on the southbound exit ramp, authorities have said. The truck slid into the median and overturned, pinning Haile.
He suffered head trauma in the crash, authorities said.
