Police know someone was stabbed during an argument Wednesday afternoon in south Wichita — they have a witness and a blood trail.
They just can’t find the victim.
They’re asking for the public’s help in finding Juan Triana, 26, who a witness said was stabbed by “a prison-like shank” by one of two men arguing with him at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of South Elizabeth, Lt. Steve Kenney said. That’s west of Harry and Seneca.
Officers found a blood trail leading from the scene of the altercation, Kenney said, but haven’t found Triana. The two suspects are in their 20s, the witness told police. They walked south on Elizabeth.
Anyone with information on Triana’s location should call 316-268-4181, Kenney said.
