McPherson police are seeking the public’s help as they try to find out how a man was critically injured early Sunday morning.
The 26-year-old man was found lying next to the street shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Carrie by officers sent to check on a complaint about loud music, McPherson Police Chief Robert McClarty said.
The man was unconscious and unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital in McPherson, then transported by air ambulance to a Wichita hospital, McClarty said. He remains unconscious and in critical condition.
Anyone with information about the incident should call McPherson police at 620-245-1200 or Crime Stoppers of McPherson County at 620-241-1122.
