Wesley to celebrate birthday with reduced zoo admission

Wesley Medical Center is continuing its 100th anniversary celebration with a $1 admission for the public at the Sedgwick County Zoo on Oct. 6. The public is invited to come and celebrate from 1 to 5 p.m. with the reduced admission fee.
In the morning, Wesley employees, volunteers, nursing school alumni and Wesley Friends members will have free admission from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be able to participate in activities including elephant canvas painting giveaways, reptile shows and penguin demonstrations.
Wesley’s official birthday is Oct. 15.
