The woman pulled up to an ATM at the Emprise Bank branch in the 2400 block of South Seneca shortly before 11 p.m., Lt. Doug Nolte said. A man drove up and pinned her Chevy Tahoe in the ATM lane. Wearing a bandanna on his face, he got out and began to approach her vehicle.

She put her Tahoe in reverse and backed away, managing to get out of the parking lot, Nolte said. She then drove off, flagging down two officers nearby.

When she told them what happened, they went to the bank and found the suspect in the 2500 block of South Seneca. The 28-year-old man was questioned and arrested.
