Wichita’s gray spring break stretches on today, with showers and thunderstorms expected on a cool day.
Highs will top out in the mid-50s, forecasters say, with light southeast winds staying in single digits. More rain is anticipated tonight, with lows dipping into the upper 40s.
The rain should finally end on Friday, forecasters say, but the clouds will linger. Highs should jump into the mid-60s, however. Winds will be out of the north and northwest, occasionally climbing into the low teens.
The weekend should be warm and dry, forecasters say.
