A teenager who was shot Wednesday afternoon while walking down a Kansas City, Kan., street was tended to by nuns until emergency personnel arrived.
Kansas City, Kan., police said the 15-year-old victim was in the area of Ferree Street and Pacific Avenue about 2 p.m. when someone shot him. Police said that several nuns, who also were registered nurses, pulled him into a residence and began administering first aid.
He was taken to a hospital where he was reported in stable condition, according to police.
