Two people have died in a one-vehicle crash on the Kansas Turnpike in northeast Butler County this afternoon, authorities said.
The Chevy Trailblazer rolled just after 1:30 p.m. as it was traveling south about three miles south of Cassoday, said Lisa Callahan, a spokeswoman for the turnpike authority. A 24-year-old man and 37-year-old woman from Missouri were killed in the crash.
Their names are being withheld pending notification of relatives. It’s not clear at this point what caused the crash, she said.
