Two state officials will meet with approximately 300 families and individuals with developmental disabilities Saturday to talk about the proposed changes in managed care for Medicaid.
The program will take place at Gracepoint Church, 9035 W. Central, at 2:30 p.m. The meeting is sponsored by ACT of South Central Kansas, a five-county legislative advocacy group that connects elected officials with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Mark Dugan, chief of staff for the lieutenant governor, and Shawn Sullivan, secretary of the Kansas Department on Aging, are scheduled to attend the meeting. The meeting is open to the public and is an opportunity for families to ask questions and hear from state officials.
