Today will offer one last dose of warm – for winter – weather in the Wichita area before much colder temperatures arrive in the region, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the mid-50s today under sunny skies, with light winds out of the north-northwest. Overnight lows are expected to slide to the low 30s.
Wednesday should launch the search for winter coats again, with highs in the upper 40s – and then the cold air arrives in earnest, with highs only expected to reach the 30s Thursday and Friday. No precipitation is expected this week in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
