Wichita police took a 24-year-old woman into custody Saturday after a witness said she saw her run over a man.
The incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday near Kinkaid and Santa Fe in south Wichita.
Police were called to the scene after someone noticed a man and woman in an argument. A witness told police she saw the woman who was sitting inside a Toyota Camry run over the man, according to Sgt. Bart Brunscheen, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
When police arrived, they found a 27-year-old man lying on the ground with serious head trauma. Paramedics transported the man to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis.
The woman was taken into custody.
