The Kelsey Smith Foundation is supporting the family of missing Olathe teen Aisha Khan, the families announced today.
Greg and Missey Smith met with Fozia and Amanat Khan, parents of the 19-year-old girl, to support them and coordinate new efforts to find her.
The Smiths are the parents of 18-year-old Kelsey Smith, who was kidnapped four years ago at a Target parking lot in Overland Park and found murdered days later in Missouri.
Police have been searching for Khan since about noon Friday. She was studying for finals at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus in Overland Park when she left a voice mail to her sister saying she slapped a man who tried to kiss her. When the sister drove to get her, she found only her book bag and cell phone.
Police said today they have no new developments in the case.
