The FBI has been called in to investigate vandalism discovered this morning at the Wichita office for Sen. Pat Roberts, police said.
Red swastikas were painted sometime this weekend on a white wall and a back door to the Republican senator’s office at 155 S. Market, Wichita police Lt. Joe Schroeder said. Evidence was collected and submitted to the FBI, he said.
This is the second time someone has painted swastikas at Roberts’ office, Schroeder said, but he didn’t have any information about the first incident.
Staff at Roberts’ Wichita office referred calls to his Washington, D.C., office.
