WICHITA — Three veteran Wichita school district employees have been appointed to fill key roles in the district, superintendent John Allison said today.
Bostic Elementary School principal Tiffinie Irving, who has been with the district for 12 years, will fill the newly created role of executive director of elementary schools.
West High School principal Lori Doyle, who has been with the district for 22 years, will assume the new role of executive director of secondary schools.
Julie Hedrick, who has been with the district for 24 years, has been named division director of facilities.
* Joel Hudson, currently principal at Northeast Magnet High School, will become principal at West High.
* Gil Alvarez, currently the principal at Coleman Middle School, will become the principal at Northeast Magnet.
* Jeff Freund, currently assistant principal at North High, will become the principal at Coleman.
* Shannon Benoit, who was slated to serve as assistant principal at Gammon Elementary this fall, will become the principal at Bostic Elementary.
