A woman was rushed to the hospital this morning after being attacked by a woman wielding a brick, police say.
The victim, 33, told police she was changing a tire on her vehicle around 3:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of South Spruce when a woman approached her from behind, Sgt. Steve Yarberry said. The woman, 31, yelled, "You shook my baby," and repeatedly hit the 33-year-old with a brick before fleeing the scene, he said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital suffering from two black eyes and a contusion.
The 31-year-old woman has not been found, Yarberry said.
