Gov. Sam Brownback has ordered flags in the state to be flown at half-staff Tuesday in honor of Army Sgt. Thomas Bohall, who was killed May 26 in Afghanistan.
Bohall, 25, and five other soldiers were killed by an improvised explosive device in Kandahar Province.
Bohall attended Heights High School for two years before finishing high school in Texas, where he lived with his father. He is survived by his wife, Jessica, and daughter, Annabelle, both of Essington, Pa.
