WICHITA — The Internal Revenue Service Taxpayer Assistance Center in Wichita will be open Saturday to provide free tax help.
The center, 271 W. Third St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
IRS personnel will be available to answer taxpayers' questions, offer information about the Earned Income Tax Credit and help prepare returns claiming the credit for taxpayers with incomes of $49,000 and below.
EITC is a tax credit for people who work, but do not earn high incomes, and can be as much as $5,666 for tax year 2010.
