MANHATTAN, Kan. | Former two-term Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius is returning to the state to take center stage at Kansas State University.
Sebelius is the secretary of health and human services in the Obama administration. She was scheduled Monday to deliver the first Landon Lecture of the academic year at the university.
Sebelius has been speaking around the country on the implementation of the federal health care overhaul, including a stop earlier in November in Kansas. She was insurance commissioner for two terms in Kansas before becoming governor in 2002.
The lecture series is named for the late Kansas Gov. Alf Landon.
