Today will be quite similar to yesterday in the Wichita area, forecasters say: gray skies, chilly temperatures and a biting north wind.
Highs should reach the low 40s, but north winds will be blowing steadily in the teens, with gusts touching 20 miles an hour. That should send a shiver down anyone having to spend much time outdoors at all.
Tonight’s lows should be in the mid-20s, as the clouds and northerly winds persist. Friday should offer sunshine, but colder temperatures, forecasters say.
Highs may not make it out of the 30s.
