The location for tonight's Shawnee Mission school board meeting has been moved from the McEachen Administrative Center to Shawnee Mission West High School, 8800 W. 85th St.
The board could vote tonight to close more schools in the district. The proposals from Superintendent Gene Johnson are intended, in part, to save money for the financially challenged district.
The meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m., will be held in the auditorium and overflow seating, if needed, will be available in the cafeteria.
The district will also be streaming the meeting live on the Internet at www.smsd.org.
