Donovan Duggins, a seventh-grader at Robinson Middle School, won a cooking competition sponsored by Red Robin today.
Duggins, 12, won both the grand prize and the fan favorite award in the Red Robin Kids' Cookoff, which took place in Denver and was broadcast live on the Internet.
He won with a burger recipe he called the Mt. Vesuvius burger, topped with his own homemade hot sauce.
The grand prize was a family trip to Universal Studios in Orlando. He also gets free Red Robin food for a year, and his burger will be featured on Red Robin's menu this summer.
