Wichita police are investigating a shooting early Sunday that left one man wounded after a disturbance at the Cotillion.
The incident happened at 2:05 a.m. in the Cotillion's parking lot at 11120 W. Kellogg.
A 22-year-old man reported being inside the building when a fight broke out and continued as people walked to the parking lot, according to Sgt. Steve Yarberry, a spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
"The victim and a witness were attempting to leave and were trying to locate their brother when the suspect pulled up, jumped out of the passenger side of the vehicle and fired three rounds toward them," Yarberry said.
The suspect was in a dark-colored SUV.
The 22-year-old man was shot once in his upper right leg and taken to Wesley Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
No arrests have been made, Yarberry said.
