WICHITA — Police are seeking the public's assistance in finding the man who robbed the Southwest National Bank branch on Saturday morning.
According to police, the man walked into the branch at 454 S. Tracy at about 10:50 a.m. and said to a teller, "You are being robbed. Give me all of your 100s, 50s, 20s, 10s, 5s and ones. No bait money and no dye packs."
No weapon was seen or indicated, police say. The teller complied with the man's orders, and then he left.
The suspect was described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with buzz-cut brown hair.
He was wearing a black ball cap and a gray zip-up shirt. Witnesses also said he had white sunglasses on top of a dark-colored hat.
Witnesses say he got into a vehicle driven by another person, which appeared to be a gray, late model Jeep Cherokee.
