COLUMBIA, Mo. —Police said today they have arrested two brothers wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Wichita man.
Columbia police also announced they are searching for a sixth suspect in the death of Aaron Hobson. He was robbed and killed early Saturday in the parking lot of a Columbia convenience store.
Hobson, 22, a graduate of Wichita Heights, was in Columbia to watch a cousin play in the Missouri-Oklahoma football game that night.
Police said brothers Daron and Darris Peal were taken into custody this morning in Jennings, Mo., which is in north St. Louis County. The United States Marshal's Service, along with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and the Jennings Police Department, worked together to apprehend the two suspects.
Both Peal brothers were arrested on a warrant for second-degree robbery and second-degree murder. Both had bonds set at $1 million.
Police said witnesses identified Daron Peal as the person who shot Hobson.
Police are still looking for Anthony J. Carr, 24, in connection with the case.
Three other suspects in the case already are in custody.
