WICHITA — Traffic on west Kellogg was closed for nearly 90 minutes during the rush hour peak this morning after a multi-car collision closed all eastbound lanes near Ridge Road.
The collision was reported just before 7:30 a.m. east of the Ridge Road exit, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. One person was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Traffic was diverted off Kellogg at Ridge, but commuters nevertheless found themselves utterly stalled in traffic for several minutes at a time.
The lanes reopened to traffic at 8:55 a.m., a dispatch supervisor said.
