Today, forecasters are calling for wonderful fall weather. Temperatures are expected to climb from 48 degrees this morning into the mid to upper 70s as a high pressure ridge moves across the Southern Plains.
Morning drivers are asked to use caution as patchy fog is possible in some low-lying areas until 9 a.m.
On Thursday night into Friday, the chances for rain increase. The greatest chance for severe thunderstorms occurs on Friday with the potential of quarter-size hail and 60 to 70 mph winds possible.
