LAWRENCE | A University of Kansas freshman who was seriously injured at a fraternity party is being treated at a Denver-area rehabilitation clinic.
A spokeswoman for Craig Hospital confirmed Thursday that Matt Fritzie, from Stilwell, has been at the hospital since Sept. 27. The clinic treats patients with serious spinal cord injuries or traumatic brain injuries.
Hospital spokesman Kenny Hosack says Fritzie's family didn't want information about his condition released.
Fritzie was injured after he dove into a makeshift pool at a Phi Gamma Delta party last month.
The Lawrence Journal-World reports that the university placed the fraternity on probation for hazing violations.
