It's not quite time to bury those tank tops with sweaters. After some brisk mornings today and this weekend, Wichita will get yet another sunny kiss of summer warmth with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to climb from about 50 degrees this morning to 82 degrees by late afternoon with a gentle 6 to 11 MPH breeze from the south and southeast.
After the sun fades, temperatures will fall back to the low 50s overnight before climbing again on Saturday to a high around 85 degrees Saturday afternoon.
Sunday is expected to be similar, with highs reaching about 80 with a few clouds.
But forecasts show a slightly cooler trend on Monday and Tuesday with a chance of rain and thunderstorms.
