KANSAS CITY, Kan. —Prosecutors say one Kansas City man just couldn't quit selling drugs, even when he was on bond.
Jeffrey Lichtenberger, 27, was sentenced to more than 11 years Tuesday on conspiracy to distribute and possess methamphetamine. He had pleaded guilty to those charges.
But Lichtenberger also faces additional counts of distributing crack cocaine while he awaiting the outcome of this case.
U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said Lichtenberger was arrested Dec. 21, 2009, at his home. He was indicted on the charges Jan. 6, 2010, and released on bond pending trial.
Then last June, authorities arrested Lichtenberger and charged him with distributing and possessing crack cocaine.
