On the day before Thanksgiving, a tornado watch has been issued for segments of four states – including the southeastern corner of Kansas.
The watch lasts until 10 p.m., and includes 7 Kansas counties: Allen, Bourbon, Cherokee, Crawford, Labette, Linn and Neosho. Also included are northeastern Oklahoma, northwestern Arkansas and a large chunk of Missouri. A tornado has already been reported north of Arnica in central Missouri.
The primary threat for southeast Kansas is large hail and damaging winds, forecasters say.
