CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. | Seven people have been arrested in the southeast Missouri town of Caruthersville following a BB gun shooting spree that caused damage estimated at more than $10,000.
The Sikeston Standard Democrat reported today that police have arrested two adults and five juveniles over the past week for the shootings that occurred Oct. 28 and Nov. 6. Police say the BB guns were used to shoot out 20 vehicle windows and two house windows. A female was also shot with a BB gun while walking on Nov. 6. She was not hurt.
Police say the suspects range in age from 15 to 20.
