Commuting got a little bit easier Monday when two ramps that are part of a major construction project on U.S. 69 reopened.
The two ramps opened late Monday evening: The northbound U.S. 69 exit ramp to 103rd Street and the northbound ramp at 95th Street.
It was hoped that the 103rd Street entrance ramp to southbound U.S. 69 would open Monday but it did not. Kansas Department of Transportation officials said that ramp will open next Tuesday, Nov. 30.
The $82 million project, which is funded with federal stimulus money, began last year and will continue until fall 2011.
