Gray skies, rain later in the day, highs in the 40s – it’s the kind of dreary, cold day that makes us wince when we think of November.
The rain will mainly fall after noon in the Wichita area, forecasters say. Light winds out of the east will shift to the north later today and intensify from the single digits to more than 20 miles an hour. Gusts are likely to top 30 miles an hour.
Wichita should see its first hard freeze of the season overnight, with lows dipping to the mid-20s, forecasters say. Thursday should see a recovery, with sunny skies and highs in the low 50s.
