WICHITA — The death of a 40-year-old man at a used car lot this morning is not a homicide, Wichita police said late this afternoon.
Emergency medical personnel were called to Car Smart Used Cars at 1504 E. 21st St. shortly after 9:30 a.m., where a 40-year-old man was reported to be suffering a seizure, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said.
The man was not breathing and was soon pronounced dead. Lt. Ken Landwehr said the man was involved in a fight, so investigators were looking into the possibility that the man's death could be a homicide.
Doctors determined the man's death was not the result of the fight, Landwehr said.
