WICHITA — Three people were hurt — one of them seriously — in a two-vehicle collision on 21st Street near Woodlawn shortly before 12:30 p.m. today, authorities said.
A sedan and an SUV collided at 12:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes, a dispatch supervisor said. A woman was found lying in the roadway, she said, but it's not known whether she was thrown from the vehicle or crawled out of the wreckage.
She was taken to Wesley Medical Center in potentially critical condition. A man and an infant were also hurt in the collision, the supervisor said, but the child's injuries are not serious.
They have not yet been transported to a local hospital.
