TEXHOMA, Okla. —The bodies of a woman and female child found in separate places in the Oklahoma Panhandle town of Texhoma have been identified.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Monday the bodies are those of 31-year-old Rose Warner and her 5-year-old daughter, Alexandria Warner, of Topeka.
OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says Texhoma authorities found Warner dead near railroad tracks Saturday night after they received a report of a train hitting something.
Brown says the child's body was found in a hotel room off U.S. 54 that the woman and checked into earlier.
Brown says both bodies were sent to the state Medical Examiner's office in Oklahoma City for autopsies.
