For the second time in less than two days, a driver running a stop sign has caused a fatal accident on K-254.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that a 29-year-old woman from Bel Aire was killed when she ran through a stop sign at Webb and K-254 about 2:30 this morning. Her car was struck by an eastbound SUV. Two teens in the SUV suffered serious injuries and were taken to Wesley Medical Center.
On Saturday, two men from El Dorado were killed when their car ran the stop sign at Greenwich and K-254 and collided with an eastbound pickup. The men's car rolled and both were ejected. The driver of the pickup suffered serious injuries.
