WICHITA — The Wichita-area chapter of Americans for Prosperity will meet tonight to discuss economic development incentives that might be offered to private developers at next week's City Council meeting.
The meeting is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wichita Central Library, 223 S. Main, in the Patio Meeting Room. The public is welcome.
The City Council is expected to hold a public hearing and consider a request by developer Jay Maxwell to establish a community improvement district for his Bowllagio mixed-use entertainment development at Kellogg and Maize Road.
Americans for Prosperity advocates limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels.
